syntheses (2022) was originally composed for organ(s) and commissioned for the Amsterdam Wandelweiser Festival 2022 by Dante Boon.

It has since been adapted for the Free Range Orchestra, whose performance was made possible by UCA Surrey Galleries and the here.here concert series. The ensemble version was presented in 2024 as part of the Being Human Festival with Free Range in Canterbury, UK..

The piece reflects my approach to notation, balancing freedom and constraint within musical parameters. Performers navigate their own paths through the score, creating a quiet, slowly unfolding soundscape that emerges from the interplay of individual choices.
